Los Angeles Kings captain Dustin Brown doesn't have a goal or a point in his past eight games. In a move to change his fortunes Brown was shifted from left wing to the right side at the Kings' morning skate Thursday.
Brown's last goal was Jan. 13 when he scored the winner against the Vancouver Canucks. Since then the Kings are 2-5-1, and their offense has slipped precipitously. They've scored 13 goals in that eight-game stretch and have one goal or fewer in four straight.
The Penguins held an optional skate Thursday, so predicting the lineup is difficult. However, the Penguins have won three of their past four, including a 3-0 defeat of the Buffalo Sabres on Monday, so it's likely coach Dan Bylsma keeps the same lineup.
There will be one change, however, as Jeff Zatkoff will start in goal. Zatkoff was selected by the Kings in the third round (No. 74) of the 2006 NHL Draft.
