The Los Angeles Kings activated goaltender Jonathan Quick from the injured reserve list on Saturday, and he was in the starting lineup against the Vancouver Canucks.
Quick, 27, has missed L.A.'s past 24 after sustaining a lower-body injury on Nov. 12 against the Buffalo Sabres. He traveled and practiced with the team during the recent four-game road trip through the Midwest. The Kings returned home Saturday to host the Vancouver Canucks.
Quick has played in 16 games this season and has a 10-5-0 record, one shutout, a 2.35 goals-against-average and a .905 save percentage. Earlier this week he was named to the U.S Olympic Team for the second time.
