Kevin Clark scores twice as St. John IceCaps capture Sharks in 6-3 win @NHLdotcom

WORCESTER, Mass. - Kevin Clark scored twice and Edward Pasquale made 30 saves as the St. John IceCaps defeated the Worcester Sharks 6-3 on Tuesday in the American Hockey League.

Jason King opened the scoring two minutes into the game with a power-play goal for the IceCaps.

Aaron Gagnon made it 2-0 with another power-play goal and five minutes later Clark scored his first of the night.

Cam MacIntyre cut into the lead just before the first intermission with his second of the year and Sena Acolatse got the Sharks within one a minute into the second period.

Clark scored his second at 3:02 of the second to put the IceCaps back up by two and Patrice Cormier made it 5-3 with his first of the season at 17:26.

Matt Irwin pulled one back for Worcester (4-1-2) three minutes into the third.

Riley Holzapfel scored an empty-netter to put the game away for St. John's (6-2-3).
