Kevin Bailie makes 41 saves as Oshawa Generals rout Barrie Colts 5-1

BARRIE, Ont. - Kevin Bailie made 41 saves as the Oshawa Generals nipped the Barrie Colts 5-1 in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday night.

Boone Jenner scored twice for the Generals (28-28-6) in just his second game back after missing over a month due to injury.

Scott Sabourin, Scott Laughton and Lucas Lessio had the other markers for Oshawa, which maintained its hold on the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference with the win.

Matt Petgrave, Daniel Maggio and Colin Suellentrop all notched a pair of assists for the Generals.

Anthony Camara had the lone reply for the Colts (36-22-4), who lost for only the second time in its past nine contests.

Barrie remains in third place in the Eastern Conference, ahead of idle Brampton.

Both teams struck on the man advantage. Oshawa went 1-for-4 while Barrie finished the evening at 1-for-3.

Mathias Niederberger made 22 stops in a losing cause.
