Slime

Nickelodeon Weekend is upon the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center, so to kick it off in proper fashion, former Devils defenseman and NHL Network analyst Ken Daneyko took one for the team.
Forwards Jack Hughes, Nico Hischier, Nathan Bastian and Dawson Mercer drenched Daneyko in buckets of slime.

"It's Nickelodeon Weekend at 'The Rock,' so I, Mr. Devil, have the great honor of getting slimed, with a little help from some friends, of course," Daneyko said.

Daneyko played all 20 seasons of his NHL career with the Devils, starting in the 1983-84 season. While he got physically slimed, the Devils players got virtually slimed on the team's Twitter account.

For Nickelodeon Weekend, fans played Nickelodeon-themed games, like trivia contests, where they could win fun prizes such as tickets to Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park at the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Devils also set up a virtual slime booth, allowing fans to create GIFs of themselves getting slimed and had Nickelodeon characters from "SpongeBob SquarePants," "Blue's Clues," "PAW Patrol" and "Rugrats" in attendance to interact with fans.
No one is safe from the slime.
