Kelowna's strong first period holds up as they edge Chilliwack 4-3 @NHLdotcom

CHILLIWACK, B.C. - Kyle St. Denis scored two goals as the Kelowna Rockets started quickly then held on for a 4-3 win over the Chilliwack Bruins in Western Hockey League action Saturday night.

The Rockets (8-7-1-1) jumped out to a 3-0 lead before the Bruins struck for two goals, one in the last minute of the second by Oscar Moller, followed by a Liam Darragh goal in the first minute of the third. Luke Schenn added two assists in the victory.

Evan Bloodoff notched a late marker to seal the deal for the Rockets. Brady Leavold also scored for the Rockets and Brandon Campos scored a late goal for the Bruins (10-5-2-0).

Kris Westblom made 17 saves for the Rockets, while Matt Esposito turned away 23 shots for the Bruins.
