Kelowna Rockets power past Vancouver Giants 6-3 in WHL action

KELOWNA, B.C. - The Kelowna Rockets scored three power-play goals Saturday as part of a 6-3 win over the Vancouver Giants in Western Hockey League play.

Damon Severson, Zach Franco and Colton Sissons scored with the man advantage for Kelowna (2-0-0). Carter Rigby added two at even strength, while Cody Chikie also scored.

Brendan Gallager, Jordan Martinook and Kiefer McNaughton replied for Vancouver (2-3-0).

Adam Brown made 29 saves for the win, while Brenden Jensen stopped 25 shots to take the loss.
