KELOWNA, B.C. - Tyson Barrie scored twice as the Kelowna Rockets staved off elimination with a 5-4 victory over the Everett Silvertips in Western Hockey League playoff action on Saturday night.
Lucas Bloodoff netted the winner midway through the third period for Kelowna, while Shane McColgan and Codey Ito also tallied to level the best-of-seven series at 3-3.
Scott MacDonald opened scoring for Everett, while Daniel Iwanski, Byron Froese and Shane Harper also tallied.
Game 7 will take place in Everett, Wash on Monday night. The home team has won every game in this series.
Mark Guggenberger made 12 saves for the Rockets, while Kent Simpson stopped 30 shots for the Silvertips.
Everett's MacDonald scored four minutes into the first period.
Kelowna replied by reeling off three straight goals only to fall behind 4-3 after two periods.
In the final frame, Barrie netted his second of the night at 9:11 on the power play to make it 4-4, then Bloodoff jammed in a wrap-around attempt just 22 seconds later to make it 5-4.
