Keegan Dansereau scores the shootout winner as Broncos edge Warriors @NHLdotcom

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Keegan Dansereau was the lone player to score in the shootout as the Swift Current Broncos posted a 4-3 shootout win over the Moose Jaw Warriors in WHL action Friday night.

Swift Current had forced overtime when import David Stieler scored a powerplay goal with 7:06 left in regulation. The Broncos also had goals from Dale Weise and Cody Eakin.

Moose Jaw got goals from Joel Broda, Neal Prokop and Ryan Stanton.

Broncos netminder Travis Yonkman won his 23rd game of the season, turning aside 24 of 27 shots and all three shootout opportunities.

Moose Jaw's Joey Perricone took the overtime loss despite stopping 38 of 41 regulation shots.

For Swift Current it was their season-best sixth consecutive win, improving their record to 29-20-0-5 and further tightening the Eastern Conference Standings.

Swift Current's 61 points pulls them within three points of the Warriors (28-15-4-5) who are tied for fifth place in the Eastern Conference.
