Kaspars Dauvagins scores in OT as Mississauga edges Windsor 3-2 @NHLdotcom

WINDSOR, Ont. - Kaspars Dauvagins scored his second goal of the game in overtime and Anthony Grieco made 40 saves as the Mississauga-St. Michael's Majors beat the Windsor Spitfires 3-2 in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday.

Windsor's Jordan Nolan opened the scoring just over 10 minutes into the second period before Dauvagins and Jesse Messier replied for the Majors (7-8-1-0) before the end of the second stanza.

Greg Nemisz's 14th goal of the season on a Windsor (11-5-1-3) power play midway through the third period sent the game into overtime.

Spits goaltender Andrew Engelage stopped 17 shots in taking the loss.

The loss extended Windsor's losing streak to six games.
