Kaspars Daugavins scores winner as Majors defeat the Peterborough Petes 2-1 @NHLdotcom

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Kaspars Daugavins scored the eventual game winner as the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors hung on to beat the Peterborough Petes 2-1 in OHL action Saturday night.

Zac Rinaldo also scored for Mississauga (30-31-2-2), while Zack Kassian netted the lone goal for Peterborough (27-35-0-3).

Chris Carrozzi made 24 saves for the St. Michael's Majors, while Trevor Cann stopped 30 of 32 for Peterborough.
