Kane scores twice on power-play to lead Vancouver over the Winter Hawks 4-2
NHL.com @NHLdotcomPORTLAND, Ore. - Evander Kane scored two power-play goals to lead the Vancouver Giants over the Portland Winter Hawks 4-2 in Western Hockey League play on Saturday night.
Vancouver (46-4-0-3) also got goals from Craig Schira and Alex Rodgers. The Giants were two for four on the power play.
Portland (13-35-2-2) got a power play goal from Travis Ehrhardt and Chris Francis had a goal and an assist to lead the Hawks.
Giants goalie Jamie Tucker made 25 saves, while Ian Curtis stopped 49 shots.
