Kane extends point streak to 17 in 5-2 Vancouver win over Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. - Evander Kane extended his points streak to 17 games with a goal and an assist as the Vancouver Giants defeated the Prince George Cougars 5-2 in Western Hockey League action Saturday night.

Kane has registered a point in every Vancouver game so far this season. The Giants (14-0-0-3) also got goals from James Henry, Andrej Kudrna, Garry Nunn and James Wright.

Dana Tyrell and Parker Stanfield responded for Prince George (8-12-0-1).

Jamie Tucker stopped 28 shots for Vancouver, while Cougars netminder Kevin Armstrong made 31 saves.
