Justin Maylan scores winner as Prince Albert Raiders edge Red Deer Rebels 3-2 @NHLdotcom

RED DEER, Alta. - Justin Maylan scored the winner six minutes into the third period as the Prince Albert Raiders edged the Red Deer Rebels 3-2 in Western Hockey League action Wednesday.

Jordan Rowley and Jordan Hickmott also scored for Prince Albert (31-31-5), which kept its slim playoff hopes alive.

Cullen Morin and Andrej Kudrna sniped second-period goals to reply for Red Deer (38-24-4).

Raiders netminder Garrett Zemlak stopped 24 shots. Darcy Kuemper made 30 saves in defeat for the Rebels.
