Justin Feser scores in overtime to lead Americans to 2-1 win over Giants
NHL.com @NHLVANCOUVER - Justin Feser scored in overtime on a power play as the Tri-City Americans defeated the Vancouver Giants 2-1 in Western Hockey League action Wednesday night.
Adam Hughesman added his 41st goal of the season for Tri-City (47-17-3).
Dalton Sward opened the scoring for the Giants (37-25-4) who played in front of a crowd of 8,536.
Feser's goal salvaged a tough night for the Americans on the power play. The Americans went 1-7 with the man advantage while the Giants were 0-2.
Ty Rimmer made 26 saves to pick up his 28th win of the season, while Adam Morrison allowed two goals on 20 shots in the loss.
