truedefenders

RALEIGH, NC - The Carolina Hurricanes today announced that American-born defensemen Justin Faulk and Noah Hanifin will continue the "True Defenders" program launched last season. The program provides a full game-night experience for military members and their families.

For eight games this season, the True Defenders program will host 34 military guests at PNC Arena. Along with a ticket and parking pass to the game, each guest will receive a special "True Defenders" long-sleeved t-shirt and a PNC Arena gift card for merchandise and concessions. After the games, guests will enjoy meet-and-greets with Faulk and Hanifin.
The first "True Defenders" game of the 2016-17 season will be Saturday, Nov. 12, when Hanifin and Faulk will host members of Veterans of Foreign Wars North Carolina for that night's game against the Washington Capitals, in honor of Veteran's Day.
