Jussi Rynnas makes 31 saves to lead AHL Stars in 3-1 win over Marlies @NHLdotcom

TORONTO - Goaltender Jussi Rynnas stopped 31 shots and the Texas Stars got goals from three different skaters en route to a 3-1 victory over the Toronto Marlies in American Hockey League action on Saturday.

Scott Glennie, on a power play, and Eric Faille scored third-period goals for the Stars (25-17-11). Kevin Henderson opening the scoring with his first of the season at 11:59 of the first period.

Brendan Mikkelson had the lone goal for Toronto (21-21-9), spoiling Rynnas' shutout bid at 18:23 of the third.

Marlies goalie Christopher Gibson made 29 saves in the losing effort.

Texas was 1 for 2 on the power play while Toronto failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
