Jung stops 36 as Edmonton beats the Rebels 3-1 to snap losing streak

RED DEER, Alta. - Torrie Jung turned aside 36 shots to help the Edmonton Oil Kings defeat the Red Deer Rebels 3-1 in Western Hockey League action Friday night.

Jeff Lee, Brett Breitkreuz and Craig McCallum scored for Edmonton (10-14-1-3), which snapped a five-game losing skid.

Cass Mappin notched the lone goal for Red Deer (8-15-0-5).

Rebels netminder Darcy Kuemper made 27 saves.
