WINDSOR, Ont. - Josh Bailey had a goal and three assists as the Windsor Spitfires cruised to a 6-0 victory over the Niagara IceDogs in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday.
Bradley Snetsinger opened the scoring just one minute into the first period and Mickey Renaud and Taylor Hall quickly upped Windsor's lead to 3-0. Greg Nemisz added two goals for Windsor (11-1-0-2).
Bailey, expected to be a high draft pick in next summer's NHL entry draft, extended his point-scoring streak to 14 games. Bailey has six goals and 17 assists and has recorded a point in every Spitfires games this season.
Andrew Engelage faced 21 shots in goal for Windsor while picking up his first shutout of the season.
Lucas Lobsinger made 22 saves for the IceDogs (9-5-0-0).
The game featured two of the Canadian Hockey League's top ranked teams.
The Spitfires are currently ranked fourth while the IceDogs are ninth in the weekly ratings.
