Jordon Cooke stops 39 shots to lead Rockets over Silvertips in a shootout

EVERETT, Wash. - Jordon Cooke made 39 saves to lead the Kelowna Rockets to a 3-2 shootout victory over the Everett Silvertips on Sunday night in WHL action.

Everett outshot Kelowna 41-22, but Cooke held the Silvertips at bay. He turned aside all three Everett attempts in the shootout as the Rockets prevailed when Zach Franko beat Silvertips goalie Austin Lotz for only shootout goal.

Colton Sissons and Myles Bell scored the goals for Kelowna (19-21-5).

Ryan Harrison and Reid Petryk scored for Everett (8-27-9), which twice came from behind to tie it.

Lotz finished with 20 saves in net for the Silvertips, who are now 1-8 in shootouts this season.
