Jordan Weal scores twice to lead Pats to 4-1 win over Raiders

REGINA - Jordan Weal scored twice to lead the Regina Pats to a 4-1 win over the Prince Albert Raiders in the Western Hockey League on Wednesday night.

Morgan Klimchuk picked up a goal and an assist while Dominik Volek also scored. Matt Marantz added two assists.

Sawyer Lange, with his first of the year, replied for Prince Albert.

Weal scored the eventual game winner during a power play with just two seconds remaining in the first period. His other goal was into an empty net late in the third.

Weal now has 116 points (41 goals, 75 assists) on the season.

Regina (37-25-6-2) ended up going two for five with the extra man while Prince Albert (21-43-3-3) was shut out on three attempts.

Matt Hewitt made 28 saves for the win. Cole Holowenko stopped 26 shots for the Raiders.
