ERIE, Pa. - Defenceman Michal Jordan scored twice and picked up an assist as the Plymouth Whalers scored four power-play goals and held off a late Erie Otters' rally in a 4-3 Ontario Hockey League win Saturday night.

Plymouth (10-6-0) grabbed a 2-0 first-period lead with a pair of power-play goals 28 seconds apart.

Whalers forward Ryan Hayes scored on a wraparound against Otters goalie Ramis Sadikow nine minutes into the game after a goalie interference penalty on Otters forward Gregg McKegg.

After Shawn Szydlowski was sent to the penalty box for hooking, the Whalers struck again when Jordan beat Sadikov with a slap shot from the left point at 9:21.

Erie (5-9-3) trailed 4-1 late in the third period before Szydlowski's 5-on-3 power-play goal at 17:58 pulled the Otters within two.

With 18 seconds left and an extra skater on the ice, Erie forward Andrew Yogan threw a puck on net from the left-wing boards that deflected off a Plymouth defender and ricocheted past Whalers goalie Matt Hackett.

Hackett made 37 saves for the Whalers, who went 4-for-5 on the power play.

Sadikov stopped 25 shots for Erie.
