Jones stops 24 as Hitmen blank Warriors 4-0 for eighth straight win @NHL

CALGARY - Martin Jones stopped all 24 shots he faced to lead the Calgary Hitmen to a 4-0 win over the Moose Jaw Warriors in Western Hockey League action Sunday afternoon.

It was the third shutout of the season for Jones as he improved his record to an impressive 22-3-2.

Bostjan Golicic and Jason MacDonald each had a goal and an assist for the Hitmen (33-5-1-1), who won their eighth straight game and 13th in a row at home to improve to 19-1 at the Pengrowth Saddledome. Paul Postma also scored, while Brandon Kozun and Kyle Bortis chipped in with two assists each.

Moose Jaw netminder Deven Dubyk made 26 saves in a losing cause for Moose Jaw (11-24-0-1).
