Jones stops 23 shots as Calgary shuts down the Hurricanes 4-0 @NHLdotcom

CALGARY - Brandon Kozun had a goal and two assists and goalie Martin Jones stopped all 23 shots he faced as the Calgary Hitmen blanked the Lethbridge Hurricanes 4-0 in the lone Western Hockey League game on Thursday night.

Brett Sonne scored once and set up another for the Hitmen (9-3-0-0), while Tyler Fiddler and Alex Plante notched their first goals of the season. For Calgary, it was their second victory in as many nights at the Pengrowth Saddledome. The Hitmen improved to 8-1 on home ice and now stand alone atop the WHL standings.

Netminder Juha Metsola made 30 saves for the Hurricanes (7-4-0-0) in a losing cause.
