Jones has two goals, assist to lead Avs to 5-3 win over Pittsburgh @NHLdotcom

DENVER - David Jones had two goals and an assist while Andrew Raycroft stopped 21 shots as the Colorado Avalanche beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-3 on Saturday.

Ryan Smyth and Wojtek Wolski had a goal and an assist each for the Avalanche, who have won three straight.

Sydney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin had a goal and assist apiece and Jordan Staal had a short-handed goal for the Penguins, who've lost seven of their last eight.

Pittsburgh goalie Dany Sabourin stopped 21 of 25 shots before being pulled for Marc-Andre Fleury to start the third. Fleury stopped six shots.

Wolski broke a 2-2 tie when he skated into the Pittsburgh zone, took a pass from Smyth and beat Sabourin over the left shoulder midway through the second.
