Florida Panthers forward Jonathan Huberdeau left the game Saturday against the Winnipeg Jets in the first period with an apparent injury.
Huberdeau lost control of the puck and his balance, and was hit by Jets defenseman Jacob Trouba with his back to the boards behind the goal line. He was on the ice for several minutes before going to the dressing room.

Huberdeau has 11 goals and 40 points in 59 games.
The Panthers were already without forwards Aleksander Barkov, Brandon Pirri and Quinton Howden, and defensemen Erik Gudbranson and Willie Mitchell.
