Johnson injured in Lightning win against Panthers @NHLdotcom

Jonathan Drouin scored with 2:02 remaining to cap a third-period comeback that gave the Tampa Bay Lightning a 3-2 victory against the Florida Panthers at BB&T Center on Saturday in the final preseason game for each team.

Tampa Bay forward Tyler Johnson played 7:39 before leaving the game in the second period with an injury and did not return. The Lightning did not have an update afterward. Forward Alex Killorn also was injured; he played 12:30.

Tampa Bay trailed 2-0 before Ondrej Palat scored with 5:26 remaining in the third period. Brian Boyle’s goal 1:38 later tied the score before Drouin beat Roberto Luongo for the game-winner. Ben Bishop made 32 saves for the Lightning (3-3-1).

The Panthers, who finished the preseason 3-3-0, got first-period goals from Derek MacKenzie and Nick Bjugstad. Luongo made 27 saves.

Each team begins its regular season at home against the Philadelphia Flyers, the Lightning on Oct. 8 and the Panthers on Oct. 10.
