Johnson has hat trick as Spokane Chiefs thump Prince George Cougars 5-1 @NHLdotcom

SPOKANE, Wash. - Tyler Johnson had a hat trick as the Spokane Chiefs thumped the Prince George Cougars 5-1 in Western Hockey League play Friday night.

Brenden Kichton and Levko Koper had the other goals for Spokane (39-21-4), while Michael Tadjdeh made 20 saves.

Alex Rodgers was the lone scorer for Prince George (11-49-3), while Hudson Stremmel stopped 27 shots.
