Johnson, Donaghy and Bowman lead Chiefs to 11-2 drubbing of Edmonton
NHL.com @NHLdotcomSPOKANE, Wash. - Tyler Johnson, Dustin Donaghy and Drayson Bowman each scored twice as the Spokane Chiefs dismantled the Edmonton Oil Kings 11-2 on Saturday night in the Western Hockey League.
Jared Spurgeon had a goal and four assists, Levko Koper scored and added three assists, Ondrej Roman had a goal and two assists and Blake Gal rounded out the scoring for Spokane (37-16-0-3).
Michael Burns and Brett Breitkreuz replied for the Oil Kings (25-31-2-4).
Dustin Tokarski made 22 saves for the Chiefs. Edmonton starter Cam Lanigan was pulled after allowing six goals on 20 shots. Laurent Brossoit stopped 17 of 22 in replacement.
