Johnson and Spurgeon both score twice as Spokane Chiefs top Kamloops 5-1
NHL.com @NHLSPOKANE, Wash. - Tyler Johnson and Jared Spurgeon both had two goals and an assist as the Spokane Chiefs topped the Kamloops Blazers 5-1 in Western Hockey League play Friday night.
Captain Jared Cowen had the other goal for Spokane (31-19-4), while James Reid made 21 saves.
C.J. Stretch had the only marker for Kamloops (25-25-6), while Kurtis Mucha stopped 25 shots.
