Voting for the 2018 Honda NHL All-Star Game started Saturday, with fans getting the opportunity to pick the four division captains for the game at Amalie Arena in Tampa on Jan. 28.
With the first voting totals to be released Wednesday, Calgary Flames forward Johnny Gaudreau shared with NHL.com his picks for the four division captains.
Connor McDavid, Edmonton Oilers
"Just the way he plays 3-on-3 hockey," Gaudreau said. "It's made for him and I know that will be exciting for the fans in Tampa to see him in this."

Jaden Schwartz, St. Louis Blues
"He's playing really well for the Blues and he's quite deserving of something like this," Gaudreau said.

Sidney Crosby, Pittsburgh Penguins
"Tradition. He's still the best player," Gaudreau said. "Maybe he's had a slow start but he had a slow start a couple of years ago and ended up being right at the top in the scoring race."

Auston Matthews, Toronto Maple Leafs
"He's a good player. He's a good guy. I liked playing with him for Team North America [at World Cup of Hockey 2016], and he's been playing well for [the Maple Leafs]," Gaudreau said. "He drives their team."
