SUDBURY, Ont. - Johan Mattsson made 31 saves Friday as the Sudbury Wolves defeated the Barrie Colts 3-2 in the Ontario Hockey League.
Nathan Pancel, Sam Schutt and Joshua Leivo scored for Sudbury (2-4-1), while Andrey Kuchin and Michael Sgarbossa picked up two assists apiece.
Colin Behenna and Zach Hall each had a goal and an assist for Barrie (4-3-1), which got 30 saves from Mathias Niederberger.
Tied 1-1 after the first period, Schutt gave Sudbury the lead at 11:53 of the second before Leivo added a power-play goal at 14:23.
Barrie got one back at 10:35 when Hall beat Mattsson, but the Colts wouldn't get any closer.
Sudbury opened the scoring with Pancel's tap-in goal at 5:58 of the first.
The Colts answered with just over three minutes left in the period when Behenna beat Mattsson.
The Wolves went 1-for-7 on the power play, while the Colts were 2-for-9 with the man advantage.
