Joel Broda scores hat trick as Hitmen roll over Warriors 8-4 @NHL

MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Joel Broda scored a hat trick and added an assist as the Calgary Hitmen rolled over the Moose Jaw Warriors 8-4 in WHL action Sunday.

The Hitmen scored four in the second period as they improved their league-best record to 51-7-3-1.

Calgary forwards Kris Foucault and Brett Sonne each scored twice while Brandon Kozun added one goal and three assists.

Quinton Howden, Martin Filo, Jason Bast and Brendan Rowinski scored Moose Jaw, which dropped further in the Eastern Conference basement at 16-39-1-2.

Calgary goalie Michael Snider made 21 saves for the win, while at the other end Josh Bosch was yanked after allowing six goals on 19 shots. Deven Dubyk replaced him, stopping 11 of 13.
