Pavelski, Perry score, get cheers from families

Joe Pavelski got some big-time stick taps from some little hockey players after his milestone goal in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final on Friday.

After Pavelski scored the first of two goals for the game, the video board at Rogers Place in Edmonton, the hub city for this year's Final, showed Pavelski's son Nate and his Dallas Stars Elite U10 Youth team cheering him on.
Stars Under-10 team surely went wild again when Pavelski scored a second time, giving him 12 for this postseason, the most in a playoff year by a player age 36 or older, and 59 for his career, tying Joe Mullen for most postseason goals by a U.S.-born player.
Pavelski wasn't the only Stars player getting support from the family.
Corey Perry's son Griffin was shown on the big board doing a celebratory dance after his dad's goal in Game 4. Perry's wife, Blakney, also did the "Go Stars Go" celebration from a suite.
