The Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning continued making the media rounds with an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Wednesday.
Captain Steven Stamkos, Conn Smythe Trophy-winning defenseman Victor Hedman and forward Nikita Kucherov took a few moments out of the team's picture day to have a virtual visit with the late night host. Jimmy Talks to Steven Stamkos, Nikita Kucherov and Victor Hedman Fallon asked about their experiences during their run to the championship and how they've been celebrating. Stamkos said the partying involved drinking many beverages. To further cement his point, defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk and Zach Bogosian casually skated through the background drinking out of cans. Fallon got the biggest laugh when he asked Hedman how it felt being better than everyone else, but Hedman remained humble in his reply. Shortly after the TV spot, the Lightning had their championship parade in boats down the Hillsborough River and held a rally with fans at Raymond James Stadium.
