Defenseman Adam Pardy has signed a contract with the Winnipeg Jets. TSN's Darren Dreger reports it's a one-year, one-way deal worth $600,000.
Pardy spent 2012-13 with the Buffalo Sabres after being acquired from the Dallas Stars in a trade last summer. He played in 17 games and finished the season with no goals and four assists.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound blueliner was a sixth-round choice (No. 173) by the Calgary Flames in the 2004 NHL Draft. He has four goals and 33 points in 200 regular-season NHL games, and two assists in six Stanley Cup Playoff games.
The Jets also announced contracts with forwards John Albert, Andrew Gordon and Jerome Samson.
Albert, 24, played 24 games in 2012-13 with the St. John?s IceCaps of the American Hockey League; he had five points (three goals) and 10 penalty minutes.
Gordon, 27, played 54 games with the Chicago Wolves of the AHL. He had 32 points (19 goals) and 49 penalty minutes.
Samson, 25, played 37 games with the Charlotte Checkers of the AHL. He had 27 points (seven goals) and 27 penalty minutes.
