Jets' Pavelec strong in win against Senators @NHLdotcom

Ondrej Pavelec stopped 24 of 25 shots to lead the Winnipeg Jets past the Ottawa Senators 2-1 in a preseason game at MTS Centre on Tuesday.

Jim Slater and Nikolaj Ehlers scored for the Jets, who lost their previous three preseason games. Winnipeg will visit the Calgary Flames on Thursday.

Buddy Robinson scored for Ottawa in the second period. Robin Lehner and Craig Anderson each allowed one goal; Lehner made 12 saves, and Anderson stopped 10 of 11 shots.
