Jacob Trouba to have hearing with Player Safety

Jets defenseman was penalized for illegal check to the head against Senators forward Mark Stone on Sunday

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Jacob Trouba will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Monday for an illegal check to the head against Ottawa Senators forward Mark Stone on Sunday.

Trouba was penalized at 6:42 of the third period of Winnipeg's 3-2 victory at Canadian Tire Centre.
Stone, whose 22 goals lead Ottawa, did not return to the game after the hit.
