Lowry suspended two games for actions in Jets game against Predators

NEW YORK -- Winnipeg Jets forward Adam Lowry has been suspended for two games, without pay, for high-sticking Nashville Predators forward Filip Forsberg during NHL Game No. 996 in Winnipeg on Friday, Mar. 1, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 14:35 of the third period. Lowry was assessed a minor penalty for high-sticking.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Lowry will forfeit $31,362.00. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
