The Senators enlisted the services of "Jeopardy" game show host Alex Trebek to announce the center from Adler Mannheim of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga as their first pick in the first round Tuesday.
Stuetzle had the privilege of hearing his name called by Trebek, the University of Ottawa graduate and Senators fan, from the "Jeopardy" set under the category "The NHL."
Stuetzle was the first of Ottawa's two top-five picks, with defenseman Jake Sanderson chosen - not by Trebek but by Senators general manager Pierre Dorion - with the No. 5 selection.
