Jeffrey scores twice, adds two assists as Sault Ste. Marie downs Sarnia 6-3 @NHLdotcom

SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. - Dustin Jeffrey scored twice, including the game-winner, and added two assists as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds defeated the Sarnia Sting 6-3 in OHL play Saturday night.

Jeffrey's goal late in the first period gave the Greyhounds (36-15-2-4) the lead for good, and his second - with Sault Ste. Marie down a man early in the second - stood as the eventual game-winner. Matt Caria also scored twice while Brandon Biggers and Anthony Peluso added singles in the Greyhounds' fourth straight victory.

Devin DiDiomete led the way with a goal and two assists for the Sting (32-23-2-0). Daniel Lombardi and Matt Martin also scored for Sarnia.

Kyle Gajewski earned the win with a 16-save performance for Sault Ste. Marie.

Sting netminder Tomi Karhunen turned aside 30 shots in defeat.
