Jean-Francois Berube makes 33 saves to lead Monarchs over IceCaps

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Jean-Francois Berube stopped all 33 shots he faced as the Manchester Monarchs shutout the St. John's IceCaps 4-0 on Wednesday in American Hockey League action.

Nick Shore scored twice for Manchester (23-7-2), the Los Angeles Kings' AHL affiliate. Michael Mersch and David Van der Gulik also found the back of the net.

Connor Hellebuyck turned away 23 shots for the IceCaps (12-15-6), the farm club of the Winnipeg Jets.

The Monarchs scored once on three power-play opportunities while St. John's was scoreless on six chances with the man advantage. The two teams combined for 81 penalty minutes.
