Jay Fehr scores winner with 22 seconds left as Brandon edges Regina 3-2 @NHLdotcom

BRANDON, Man. - Jay Fehr's breakaway goal with 22 seconds left in the third period capped a wild finish as the Brandon Wheat Kings beat the Regina Pats 3-2 in what could be a possible first round WHL playoff match up.

Fehr's goal came just moments after Jordan Eberle of the Pats missed on a breakaway at the other end and just 36 seconds after the Pats, with their goalie pulled, had tied the game on a Kirt Hill goal.

Tyler Dittmer and Daniel Bartek also scored for the Wheat Kings, who improved to 42-24-3-3.

Rudolf Cerveny had the other goal for the Pats, who fell to 44-22-4-2.

Brandon netminder Joe Caligiuri and Regina's Jeff Bosch stopped 23 shots apiece.
