Most hockey players carry their sticks in their hands. It makes sense - carrying things is kinda the whole reason why we have hands and fingers. During Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Second Round between the Capitals and Penguins, Caps forward Jay Beagle decided to be different.
Well, Beagle actually got Kris Letang's stick stuck between his visor and helmet after colliding with the Pens defenseman along the boards. But we're still pretty sure this innovation in stick transport will catch on soon. Carrying the puck like that might just prove a bit more difficult. Unless you're Dan Girardi.
