Jason Reese's four-point effort leads Americans past Blazers 4-1 @NHLdotcom

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Jason Reese had two goals and two assists to lead the Tri-City Americans to a 4-1 WHL victory over the Kamloops Blazers on Saturday night.

Shaun Vey had a goal and two assists for Tri-City (22-7-1-0), while Johnny Lazo added a goal and an assist.

Brock Nixon tipped in a Juuso Puustinen shot for the Blazers' goal, 7:08 into the second period, sparking the annual Teddy Bear Toss and a 12-minute delay as the ice was cleaned.

Justin Leclerc made 20 stops for Kamloops (15-14-1-1). Chet Pickard made 31 stops, including 19 in the third period, for the Americans.
