ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Jason Jaffray scored two goals as the Manitoba Moose beat the Rochester Americans 5-1 in American Hockey League action Monday.
Guillaume Desbiens and Mark Cullen each added a goal and an assist for the Moose (10-3-0-0), who finished their long road trip with a 6-1 record. Manitoba has 15 wins and one shootout loss in its last 16 games against the Americans.
Jaffray put the Moose on top 1-0 just 2:50 into the game, but Rochester's Michael Duca scored his fourth goal of the season to tie it at 1-1.
Manitoba took over with unanswered goals from James Neal, Jaffray, Cullen and Desbiens.
Lawrence Nycholat and Mario Bliznak each chipped in a pair of assists, and Moose goaltender Karl Goehring earned the victory with 26 saves on 27 shots.
Chris Beckford-Tseu stopped 20 shots for Rochester (2-11-0-0).
