BRAMPTON, Ont. - Jason Dale scored twice and Brandon Foote stopped 16 shots for his first career OHL shutout as the Brampton Battalion blanked the Sudbury Wolves 4-0 on Monday.

The Battalion (3-6-0-0) opened the scoring 2:10 into the game on Michael Hasson's first career OHL goal. They doubled their lead at the 8:08 mark on Dale's first of the game, as he converted a Thomas Stajan feed past Andrew Loverock.

Tanski increased Brampton's lead to three goals on the power play at 11:03 of the middle stanza before Dale rounded out the scoring with a power-play goal 3:40 into the third period.

Despite the loss, Loverock was solid between the pipes, turning aside 47 of 51 shots.

The game was a spirited one, with 10 fighting majors handed out, perhaps due to emotions boiling over from the two team's previous meeting in Sudbury (4-2-0-1) on Saturday night.
