Jamie-Benn 3-19

FRISCO, Texas-- Forward Jamie Benn will be a game-time decision for the Dallas Stars against the San Jose Sharks at American Airlines Center on Monday (8:30 p.m. ET; FS-SW, CSN-CA, NHL.TV).
Benn injured his eye during a fight with defenseman Nikita Tryamkin in a 4-2 win against the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday.

"I don't know if it was the thumb [of Tryamkin's glove], or whatever, but he got scratched as the fight started or even before the fight started," Stars coach Lindy Ruff said.
Benn was a full participant in practice Sunday, and Ruff said chances are "higher than 50-50" that the Stars captain will play.
"But we'll see what tomorrow brings," Ruff said.
Benn has 63 points (24 goals, 39 assists) in 66 games, tied for 14th in the NHL in scoring.

Center Jason Spezza left practice early Sunday with back spasms, and Ruff said he is doubtful to play Monday. Spezza, who has a history of back issues, has 42 points (12 goals, 30 assists) in 59 games.
If Spezza and Benn are out, the Stars will have to juggle the lineup and potentially call up a forward from Texas of the American Hockey League.
"We would need somebody if both Benn and Spezza can't play," Ruff said. "Or we dress seven [defensemen]."
