Jaden Schwartz

St. Louis Blues forward Jaden Schwartz appeared to injure his hand Thursday and will not practice for the next few days.
Schwartz left practice after the injury and did not return.
"He'll need a couple days off, but he's a lot like [forward Robby] Fabbri," Blues coach Ken Hitchcock told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "He's probably not going to skate this weekend in any of the games but he'll be ready to go next weekend. He's day to day. He'll be fine."

Schwartz had eight goals and 14 assists last season when he was limited to 33 regular-season games after breaking his left ankle in October.
Fabbri missed practice for the fourth straight day because of an upper-body injury but skated prior to practice.
"They're all getting close to being ready to play but I think we'll hold them out until they're 100 percent," Hitchcock said, referring to the injured players.
The Blues play preseason games Friday, Saturday and Monday.
