Crowley scored his second of the night from another wrist shot from the point to cut the lead to 3-2 at 17:48 only to have Andrew Bailey bat out of the air and past Silvertip goaltender Shayne Barrie to give the Ice a 4-2 second period lead.

The Ice would continue the rout into the third period with four straight goals by Michael Stickland, Dustin Sylvester, Steve Da Silva and Jacquemet, who completed the hat-trick, to make the final 8-2.
